This classic Siena honey cake is chewy from figs, crunchy from hazelnuts, and scented with pepper and dark chocolate and our house made candied oranges. It’s meant to be served by the sliver with a cup of espresso at the end of a meal, and it’s converted several people on our staff who profess to hate dried fruit.
