If you wanna know what I'm drinking now this is it! A beautiful, light-bodied red from Bardolino (northern Italy around the Veneto region) that is a rare blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Sangiovese. This wine is dry, with medium to high acid, light tannins and notes of juicy red fruits (strawberry, red cherry, red plum) and hints of eucalyptus and pepper. Despite it's lightness, it would pair well with rich tomato based pastas (think ragu), beef, game, lamb etc, and would also work well with bbq and smoky duck dishes.
