Pietradolce Etna Rosso
A rare Italian varietal Nerello Mascalese made on the slopes of Mount Etna, this wine displays notes of red cherry, almond, licorice with a good mineral base. This red’s bright, ruby red hue disguises its surprising body, and delicate tannins pair well with slightly richer meats. The wine has a wonderful fresh acidity that lends lightness to the sweet duck meat, while the almost smoky quality of the duck enhances subtle earthiness in the wine.
