Red cherry, star anise, blackberry with a slight earthiness from the wine’s wild fermentation and creates a light rustic quality. High acid, coupled with a distinct tartness and a nice savoury quality, helps this wine stand up to rich, creamy foods. Sangiovese is a classic pairing with lasagna - like the delightful ones we make in house!
