This traditional sparkling red Lambrusco is great for when the mood for a sparkling wine strikes, but are also looking for something with a bit more depth. Hibiscus, blackberry, rhubarb with an underlying note of balsamic. Soft tannins and high acid mean that the wine can easily be paired with food, and it’s dark berry notes would work well with heartier poultry and pork stews. It would also be a nice partner to spicier, richer charcuterie and pâtés, as well as aged and blue cheeses.
