Calabria, Italy, 2020
An interesting, complex rosé with lots of depth. Made from the Italian varietal Gaglioppo, this wine has notes of orange peel, wild strawberry, red currant and bay leaf coupled with light tannins and a dry, lingering finish. This is a rosé that can be paired with heartier fall dishes, and would also play nicely with richer, fattier fish. Consider it a fall iteration of a generally summer wine.
