This is a wonderful red to sit by the fire with on a cold night. This wine is made from the Gaglioppo grape, native to southern Italy; it is fuller bodied with ripe tannins and notes of black cherry, black plum, red currant and wood spice, with a hint of underlying smokiness. It is a well balanced, structured wine that would pair well with red meat, barbeque and hearty tomato based pastas.
All alcohol purchases must be accompanied with a purchase of food. Thus, your wine purchase will automatically come with a non-perishable can of soup.
